教学内容:
译林版英语五年级上册Unit 4 Hobbies (Extended reading &Writing)
教学目标:
1.语言能力目标:
(1)能正确听懂、会说、会读、会写词汇: hobby, with, also, play the piano, watch films, both等词汇,并对拓展词汇jump rope, go roller skating, pick fruit能熟知、会说。
(2)能熟练运用句型What do/does ... like doing?询问爱好,并用 ... like(s) doing ... 谈论爱好,能用... can/can’t...well ,...be good at...,often表达擅长或不擅长的爱好。
(3)能综合运用本单元知识,学会介绍自己的爱好以及准确运用第三人称单数形式谈论他人爱好。
2.学习能力目标:
(1)能根据学习过程,逐步建构写作框架,完成写作。巧用tip建议,提升写作水平。
(2)能在互相评价中,了解大家写作的优点、主动学习与请教,提升自我评价与互评能力。
3.思维品质目标:
(1)能在复习的过程中,学会分析、归纳、总结知识,培养良好的学习品质,提升思维能力。
(2)通过简单的写作练习,准确、连贯、多元地介绍自己的信息。
4.文化情感目标:
(1)能通过本课的学习,了解友谊不分国界,朋友之间通过互相交流,互相学习,互相帮助可以培养感情加深友谊,培养学生的交际能力。
(2)能通过本课的学习,了解多元的文化,拓宽国际视眼,感受文化的魅力。
教学重难点:
1. 通过简单的写作练习,准确、连贯、多元地介绍自己的信息。
2. 能准确运用第三人称单数形式谈论他人爱好。
教学过程:
Step 1 Before-class activities
1. Enjoy a song:<What do you like to do?>
2. About me
T: What do I like doing? Please listen to the song.
3. Brainstorm: What other hobbies do you know?
Arts: singing, dancing, playing piano, painting...
Sports: playing basketball, playing football, running, swimming...
Others: reading, fishing, cooking, watching films...
4. Play a game: Guess and say
T:What do you like doing? Please share your hobbies. Let’s play a game.
游戏规则:
请2个男生和2个女生,根据自己的爱好做出相应动作,其余学生猜。
如果其余学生有相同爱好,请站起来说:“We have the same hobby. Horray!”并隔空击掌。

Mike likes playing basketball and football.But he can’t play football well.
Liu Tao likes playing football. He also likes playing table tennis.
Teach: play table tennis= play ping pong
Ss: They both like playing football.
T: They have the same hobby. How do they become good friends? Please look and say.
Ss:Mike teaches Liu Tao basketball. Liu Tao teaches Mike Chinese. Mike teaches Liu Tao English. So they become good friends.
T: Although they from different countries,but they communicate with each other,they help each other, they learn from each other, they become good friends.

T: Mike and Liu Tao are from different countries. Where are they from?
S: Liu Tao is from China. Mike is from the UK.
T: Mike is from the UK. He is from one of our sister cities(友好城市).

T: We also have many sister schools. Every year we meet each other. But according to the Covid-19,we can’t go out, and they can’t come to China. But the students wants to make friends with us. And they write letters to us. Do you want to be their pen pals?
Teach: pen pal
T: Look ,we have four pen pals. Who are they? (Show pictures)
S: They are Jack, Lucy, Nancy and Tom.
2. Let’s talk
T: What do you want to know about your pen pal?
You can use “What/Where/ When/ How... ”to ask questions.
